Genoa ports enjoins of a lot and wide areas either uncovered or covered ones. Each Terminal has his own spaces closest to the operating wharfs.

• CONTAINER TERMINAL NO.1
  Ponte LIBIA:Warehouses for 2500 sqm. devoted to Groupages and containers handling. Offices:Closest to warehouses.
  Ponte RONCO:Unsheltered:82000 sqm plus 20000 sqm along the west side of wharf and a wide sheltered hangar for container handling.
  Ponte CANEPA:Unsheltered areas:35000 sqm for container storage only.
  
• CONTAINER TERMINAL NO.2
  Quay SANITA':Total surface:160000 sqm with 2 sheltered hangars with a capacity of 200000 TEUS/YEAR.
• CELLULOSE TERMINAL.
  Ponte Somalia Extension:Covered warehouses of 5710 sqm built by Svenska Cellulose Aktiebolaget by appointment of Port Authority.This space is devoted to cellulose storage.This is one of the 4 european cellulose terminals.The traffic is full effected with specialized ships.
• C.S.M. (CENTRO SMISTAMENTO MERCI)
  Zone S.Benigno:
  The C.S.M. started on 1967.The warehouse has a surface of 15000 sqm,12000 of which are devoted to goods handling and the rest to offices and services,including Custom. This Center is specialized to assemble the goods on pallets,to separate goods by marks,numbers and destinations at last sent to shipment on board. The storage is very fast by employement of a wide range of fork lifts,electrical feeders and 2 cranes by 1,5 T.
  The C.S.M. is able to grant a storage of 1000 T of goods for 60000 T/Year.
• CEREAL SILOS
  S.Limbania Quay:It develops on a surface of 9850 sqm and a capacity of 65000 T.It enjoins of 7 suction turrets with a discharging rate of 700 T/Hour.
  Ponte Parodi:It is joined to the previous one and has a capacity of 45000 T. with a discharging rate of 550 T/Hour.
• COFFEE TERMINAL
  Ponte Etiopia:Here we have a very specialized warehouse for storage and delivery of coffee.The capacity is 18000 cm.
• VINE SILOS
  It is managed by few private firms:ACOMAR,MEDVINS,POLOTTO .....,The total capacity of the Silos is 130000 hectolitres about.
• COAST OIL TANKS SAAR
  It is situated on the Southern side of Quay Sanita'.It is devoted mainly to store Vegetal Oils and Greases.All goods handled are in bonded conditions and directly under Custom control.There are 68 tanks for a total capacity of 30000 T and ashore surfaces of 11500 sqm.
• COAST OIL TANKS SILOMAR.
  It is sutuated at the root of Ponte Etiopia and is operative for vegetal oils and similar.There is a surface of 13000 sqm and a capacity of 50000 cm.
• COLD TERMINAL
  Ponte Somalia West:Surface available 9630 sqm with a capacity of 16317 cm or 3628 T.It is able to handles frozen goods either in bilk or packed on pallets.
• REEFER TERMINAL
  Ponte Somalia East:Surface available 35000 sqm,24000 of which are full covered.The 50 % of the traffic is for import of Bananas.
• BULK OIL TERMINAL
  Has been sustained deep modifications.It is mainly based on the MULTEDO Oil Terminal, Olii Minerali wharf and Quay Stefano Canzio.A group of firms has the management of these plants:
  TANKINICA with 77000 sqm and tanks for 119000 cm.
  I.P. with 4100 sqm and tanks for 17000 cm.
  ESSO/IP with 12700 sqm and tanks for 90000 cm.
